BamTasticBambi is a West Coast Canadian, community-minded gamer, storyteller, artist, and natural people-connector. She believes life is an adventure—and gaming certainly makes it more fun. She has a gift for turning a gaming session into a genuine conversation that can wander from the action on screen to music, movies, food, travel, gardening, life, and back again without missing a beat.

Growing up in British Columbia in the 1980s, Bam spent her days climbing trees, fishing, swimming, attending Girl Guides, performing in theatre, inventing games, and playing Mario on a Nintendo connected to the family’s floor television. Later, life took her to a mountain town where she made lifelong friends, wrestled, rode quads, made the forest feel like a second home, spent time at the gun range, and developed a lasting respect for the natural world around her. Music became part of the adventure too—she played the clarinet, found the rhythm on the drums, and sang her heart out, even when the notes had ideas of their own.

Art has remained at the centre of her creative life—especially photography. Her creativity also finds its way into painting, sculpture, writing, and beadwork. She has photographed children, weddings, backstage moments, concert pits, and even aerial views while hanging out of a helicopter. More recently, her focus has turned toward capturing real moments—painting solace in light and searching for the depth of the soul. She also happens to have the kind of clear, unmistakable voice people often say was made for radio, and she has followed her curiosity into more experiences than could ever fit into one biography.

She is a hands-on woman who is equally comfortable creating in the kitchen or renovating her own home. She cooks, cans and preserves food, tends her garden, and makes time for yoga—a passion that once took her all the way to Las Vegas after she won a trip in a yoga competition. She is never afraid to pick up a tool and learn by doing. Tools do not scare her—they usually mean another idea is about to become real.

She also has a lifelong love of all things nerdy. From growing up with She-Ra and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to loving Sailor Moon, Spider-Man, gaming, animation, and whatever new fictional world catches her curiosity, Bam is always ready to geek out over a great character, story, or adventure. From time to time, she is just as happy setting everything else aside and losing an entire day inside a good book.

Happily married and having raised two children, Bam has spent years volunteering, encouraging, and supporting others. As a loyal friend, she brings imagination, humour, honesty, and a belief that online friendships can be every bit as meaningful as those formed anywhere else.
